The Blues are bruised but tonight they can convince themselves again that they are on the right track with a big-name scalp, while the Pies’ faltering title defense could get a big boost with a win here.
We have two clubs that don’t like each other and two teams full of some of the best and most watchable players in the game. I shudder to think how many will be crammed into the MCG tonight. I couldn’t be better prepared for an unforgettable game, so keep each other more company for everything that lies ahead tonight.
