Lil Nas X runs the New York City Half Marathon in COACH HIGH TOPS (but recovers in a wheelchair after completing course): ‘At least I made it’

The Old Town Road rapper – born Montero Lamar Hill – was photographed running down the sidewalk with a smile on his face.

But the 24-year-old chose an unusual pair of shoes for the grueling 13,109-mile hike: a pair of Coach high-top sneakers.

The white sneakers, both bulky and stylish, didn’t seem like the best choice for long-distance running, but Nas showed no signs of discomfort as he ran around the big city.

Nas finished the marathon in 2:32:53, his New York Road Runners results showed.

Photos from the event show Nas happy as he ran alongside other runners before crossing the finish line.

The marathon – which measures just over 21 km – is quite an achievement for the rapper.

“Hey, at least I made it,” he wrote.

The rapper was one of several celebrities taking part in the race – TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were also seen in the race.

It’s a surprise that the rapper isn’t wearing his own collaboration with fashion house Coach.

The rapper offers a line of neon-colored clothing and bags made in collaboration with Coach, including a collection of high-top sneakers priced at $325.
