After losing their last two games against the MLS All-Stars, Liga MX has finally emerged victorious.
The Liga MX All-Stars took a 4-1 win over the MLS All-Stars in their match at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday night. The victory came after the MLS All-Stars eliminated Mexico on penalty kicks in 2021 and with a 2-1 win in the 2022 edition of the game. Last year’s edition was played against Arsenal.
While it was an exhibition match, the game was a preview of the upcoming Leagues Cup, which will pit MLS clubs against Liga MX teams starting Friday. Inter Miami, thanks to the addition of Lionel Messi, won the cup in 2023 after beating Nashville in the championship match.
