A legless skater has broken a Guinness World Record.

Kanya Sesser, 31, is a para-athlete and placed second in women’s adaptive street skating in 2022 on the Dew Tour.

Now, she has set the Guinness World Record for the longest handstand on a skateboard performed by a woman.

She told What’s The Jam: “Making history for others to see is amazing and I hope to inspire future generations.”

Sesser, who was also born with webbed fingers, accomplished the feat in 19.65 seconds despite his physical limitations.

Sesser has persevered through a difficult journey to get to this point.

When she was three weeks old, a woman passing by found her on the side of a road in Thailand.

He ended up moving to Portland, Oregon, where he grew up with foster parents before starting skateboarding in high school.

Sesser insisted that “there is no one greener than him” as he continues to push the boundaries of his disability.

“Holding the position for 19.65 seconds was one of the most career-changing moments in my career,” he said.

“No legs, no limits.”
