Kylian Mbappe will reportedly join his new Real Madrid teammates in receiving a state-of-the-art BMW ahead of the new season.
The French superstar was unveiled as the club’s new Galáctico earlier this month following years of speculation linking him with a move to the Spanish capital.
Playing for the world’s biggest club has many advantages. Mbappé will not only see his already high profile boosted by new brand deals, but will also be competing for the biggest prizes the sport has to offer.
Another off-field perk of being a member of Los Blancos’ first team is the gift of a branded electric BMW, courtesy of the team’s three-year sponsorship deal with the German manufacturer.
Similar to Bayern Munich’s deal with Audi, every first-team player, coach Carlo Ancelotti and even club president Florentino Perez receive a new vehicle at the start of each season.

Mbappé will receive the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive, which currently sells for more than £164,000
The engine features two motors and can go from 0 to 100 in an astonishing 3.7 seconds.
According to Marca, Mbappé will have in his hands the i7 M70 xDrive, an engine that has two motors, one on the rear axle with 489 hp and another on the front with 258 hp.
Thanks to this, this vehicle can reach speeds of 250 km/h and go from 0 to 100 in an astonishing 3.7 seconds. The car sells for more than 164,000 pounds.
Mbappé will not feel out of place when he arrives at the training ground, with many of his teammates expected to opt for a similar model. Indeed, President Perez is already sporting the same vehicle.
The selections made for Madrid’s current squad have yet to be revealed, but the players were seen looking delighted when presented with their kits for the 2023-24 campaign in October.
Up to four different models have been chosen by the first team players and the coach, including the BMW i4, the i7 and the iX and XM SUVs.
At the cheaper end of the price scale is the electric i4 eDrive35, which retails for around £50,000. While the most expensive car in the group is the plug-in hybrid XM, which costs more than £150,000.
According to Marca, that option was taken by a total of eight Madrid players, including Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo.
Vinicius Jr. and Aurelien Tchouameni were among the seven players who opted for the more affordable i4. They were also joined by their agent, who described the car as “spectacular”.
Veterans Toni Kroos and Luka Modric opted for the cheaper iX SUV option, as did defender Antonio Rudiger. Kroos will of course no doubt miss his annual trips to the BMW dealership this season, having decided to call time on his illustrious career last season.
Jude Bellingham was seen receiving his new car at the start of last season. He opted for the iX SUV
Aurelien Tchouameni was among seven first-team players who opted for the more affordable i4.
Carlo Ancelotti also took part in the draw. He too chose the smaller all-electric i4.
Mbappé will be particularly interested in the amenities on offer, as well as the quality of the ride. The French superstar has reportedly not yet obtained his driving licence, so trips to the Spanish capital are likely to be spent staring at the huge 31.3-inch screen that unfolds from the ceiling.
The car also includes climate control, heated seats, massage capabilities, and rear curtains for added privacy.
