Lee, featured in the current Celebs Go Dating series, told how he still drinks socially, but not & # 39; inwardly & # 39 ;.
He said: & # 39; Those days are now completely behind me, where I would use everything to forget. If anything, I now have a few beers to relax and be social, but there were points where I would not drink socially, I would drink inwardly, and the bottle was my friend. & # 39;
Lee went on to say that he is happy that he has never become dependent on drugs, but added that in the past he & # 39; dabbled & # 39; used to be.
& # 39; I have never been a big drug person and I am quite happy about that. I'm so glad I never got mad at drugs, & he said.

Lee gave up alcohol when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year, but started drinking again after his appearance in the show.
Lee wrote in Blue & # 39; s memoir, All Rise, and said: & # 39; If I had to quantify it, I could safely say at that point in my life that I was drinking around a bottle of whiskey one night.
& # 39; It all went in the wrong direction, as they say, and I had received warnings from my doctor, but if I'm honest, I didn't pay attention because I wanted to get rid of it. & # 39;
The Strictly Come Dancing star added that he was in a shaky mental state when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.

When he was arrested for drunk driving and detained in a police cell after leaving home, & # 39; taunted & # 39; he the officers there.
In the comprehensive book All Rise, he said: & # 39; The destructive behavior I had been engaged in for over a year had reached his only logical conclusion.
The reports said that I had peeed in the police cell. I don't really remember, but the truth was that I hoped they would beat me up, so maybe I could challenge them to fight me. When people tell you time and again that you are a bastard, you start to believe it.
& # 39; I wanted them to throw me away and leave me alone. I wanted to get lost. I think you reflect what you get, so I had absorbed all the rage and abuse that was directed at me and this was how it came out. & # 39;
Lee then rehabilitated for the second time and gradually changed his life by going to the gym and turning away from alcohol.
Lee added: & # 39; I have never been a big drug person and I'm quite happy about that. I am so happy I have never been angry with drugs & # 39; (shown in August 2019)
