The couple met in 1996, two years before she began playing a starring role in the long-running sitcom The King Of Queens alongside Kevin James.

They married in a Scientological wedding in Las Vegas in 2003, a decade before they both left the Church of Scientology along with Remini’s mother.

The year they married, Remini purchased a mansion in the Studio City area of Los Angeles, paying an estimated sum of $3,750,000, through In touch.

Remini first attempted to sell the property in 2023, shortly after her and Pagan’s daughter Sofia, 20, left for college, with an asking price of $12,499,000.

After failing to find a buyer, she reduced the price twice throughout 2023 but still struggled to unload the house.

She eventually sold the 1.5-acre property for $9.3 million on July 1 of this year, just weeks before she and Pagan announced their divorce, according to The explosion.

Meanwhile, Pagan owns the popular Studio City brunch spot Vivian’s Millennium Café with Remini’s stepfather, George Marshall.

Vivian’s Café was opened by a couple named Vivian and Walter in 1963, and then acquired by Pagan and Marshall in 1999, adding “Millennium” to the name.

Studio City is known as a hotspot for Hollywood professionals, and the restaurant has been a gathering place for them under Pagan and Marshall.

As for acting, it is currently unknown how much Remini collects in residual payments from reruns of her popular show The King Of Queens, which ran for nine seasons.

Prior to season eight, Remini successfully negotiated to have her salary tripled to get closer to pay parity with James, who was making more than $400,000 per episode, according to Variety.

Since the show ended in 2007, Remini has appeared in several films, including the comedy Second Act, starring alongside her close friend Jennifer Lopez.

He has also published a best-selling memoir called Troublemaker and a series of documentaries fiercely critical of the Church of Scientology.

Remini and James reunited on the small screen for the comedy Kevin Can Wait, which was canceled by CBS in 2018 after just two seasons.

Pagan is also an actor and has appeared in films such as the 2001 thriller Swordfish, as well as being a recurring guest star on The King Of Queens.

Remini and Pagan made their split public in a joint statement Thursday, striking a conciliatory tone while explaining why the marriage fell apart.

“So the big question is why? To put it simply, we both changed, as people do, and got used to playing roles that no longer fit us,” they wrote.

“After much effort and reflection, we have decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today. Our bond is still strong, it has simply evolved into something different.”

They admitted they were “sad” about the divorce, but noted that they still consider the marriage a “success” and consider each other “best friends.”
