“While I would love to see Lana Del Rey live, these are not prices I’m willing to pay and even more so, they’re not prices I’m willing to ask my friends who are casual fans to pay.” Considering this is a stadium, £80 as a starting point is beyond ridiculous’;

‘Concert ticket prices have definitely skyrocketed lately, and it’s no surprise that fans are frustrated. Paying £100 for nosebleeds or £116 for tickets with restricted views is a tall order even for an artist as iconic as Lana Del Rey…’;

‘If the prices I see in the posts here about the Lana Del Rey pre-sale @TicketmasterUK are correct (£170 for standard tickets) then it’s disgusting.

‘Major label artists and ticketing companies are vultures who prey on fans. Respectfully, bow madam;

‘Oh Ticketmaster and Lana Del Rey are shameless with those prices’; “I don’t particularly care for Lana Del Rey, but the ticket prices are ridiculous”;

‘Lana Del Rey, are you laughing at the ticket prices, ma’am?’

It is unclear if Lana has chosen to use dynamic ticket pricing.

Ticketmaster bosses were criticized again for profiting from the controversial ticketing system when Oasis tickets went on sale earlier this year.

Dynamic pricing causes companies to ask a price for a product that is equal to the value the consumer attributes to it, so their willingness to pay more increases the value.

In this way, companies can calculate how many consumers are willing to pay for the product at each price.
