The Good Place actress, who has publicly documented her own teenage struggle with anorexia, said “it’s been hard to watch” already thin stars take fat hits “to go from skinny to super skinny.”

In a post on Instagram (along with a video of her eating in a black bikini), the 38-year-old told her nearly four million followers: “The number of people in my industry who simply dare to go from skinny to super skinny, finally achieving the obedient waif physique that fits obedient sample sizes…has been hard to watch.

And he added: ‘I plan not to participate in this cycle. The curves will return. They always do it.

“I’m not playing with my brain, my heart, my bone density or my metabolism looking for a trend.”

In May, the star revealed how her eating disorder had “destroyed” her bone density.

She said: “I feel so sorry for my body for having jeopardized my future so severely for a beauty standard and for trying to fit in with other people.”
