Samantha Busch, the wife of NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, trolled her husband on social media after a dramatic finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway over the weekend.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 38-year-old two-time Cup champion shared his thoughts on the exciting final leg of Sunday’s race in Georgia, where he was part of a three-wide photo finish, placing third behind Ryan. Blaney and the winner Daniel Suárez.
I can’t get much closer than that. I needed a couple inches,’ Busch wrote as the caption of his latest Instagram post of his. “Fast car @cheddarskitchen – @teamchevy today, excited by the strength we’ve shown to start the year.”
As the thousands of likes poured in, Samantha, who has been married to Busch since 2010, delivered the unexpected by slamming her spouse in the comments section.
“I’ve been telling you that for almost 20 years,” he wrote alongside a zany face emoji.

Samantha’s choice of words really surprised some of Busch’s followers, as they hinted at their dismay at what she had written in her own comments.
‘@samanthabusch yooo. Wild!!! Lmao,’ said one person in disbelief.
“No way,” said another, while a third user shared that “there’s no way she said that.”
Suarez, 32, defeated Blaney, 30, by 0.003 seconds and Busch by 0.007. It was his second NASCAR Cup Series victory.
“It’s good to see Daniel get a win,” Busch said Sunday. ‘We helped each other by being partners on the Chevy team and working together there.
“It shows that when you have friends and you can make alliances, they seem to work, and that was a good part of today.”
Kyle and Samantha shared two children: a seven-year-old son, Brexton, and a daughter, Lennix.
Daniel Suarez (99), left, beat Kyle Busch (8), center, and Ryan Blaney (12) in Sunday’s race.
Samantha, who shares two children – a seven-year-old son, Brexton, and a young daughter, Lennix – with Busch, also reflected on her husband’s third-place finish following a thrilling conclusion.
Damn, that was close! Proud of this team, they have had strong cars on consecutive weekends, let’s keep this momentum going in Las Vegas,” he wrote on Instagram.
The next NASCAR Cup Series race will take place on Sunday, March 3 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
