KSI has branded Tyson Fury “deceitful” and “imbecile” for claiming Oleksandr Usyk was victorious in his title fight because his country, Ukraine, is at war with Russia.
Usyk earned split decision glory by scores of 115-112, 113-114 and 114-113 to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.
Fury was respectful in defeat, but believed he was the rightful winner and argued that “people are siding with the country at war.”
Usyk had the better of the early skirmishes before Fury dominated the middle rounds, but the Ukrainian’s resistance prevailed and he won the later stages, with a score of 10-8 in the ninth round.
YouTube star KSI was angered by Fury’s comments, tagging him in a post on X and writing: ‘Fuck you T***.’ You are actually deceived.

Fury had claimed that “I won the fight” and “people are siding with the country at war.”
KSI’s profile in the sport is rising with the growth of his Misfits Boxing promotion, which he founded in 2022.
Fury, who is expected to earn more than £100million for his role in an era-defining clash in Saudi Arabia, was adamant that he had won immediately after the fight.
“I think I won that fight,” he told DAZN. “And I think he won some of the rounds, but I won most of them.”
And he added: “I think we both put up a good fight, the best we could do.” And you know, his country is at war. People are taking the side of the country at war.
“Make no mistake, in my opinion, I won that fight.”
On another night, perhaps Usyk would have been hailed the winner. TNT Sports pundit Richie Woodhall scored the fight 114-114 as it had been very competitive.
It was a monumental night for the heavyweight division, with Usyk crowned the first undisputed champion of the four-belt era, and the first since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in 1999.
After the fight in Saudi Arabia, both fighters showed mutual respect for each other and Fury was seen putting his arms around Usyk’s shoulders inside the ring.

Fury and Usyk were respectful of each other after the fight, but the Gypsy King felt he had been too harsh.
Usyk, who raised a Ukrainian flag after the fight, thanked his team for helping him succeed, before stating he was ready for the rematch Fury demanded.
‘We will return to our families and we will see him again in October. We’ll go back, we’ll rest,’ Fury said.
‘I think I won the fight, but I’m not going to sit down and cry and make excuses. We will run it again in October.
In an exclusive interview with Mail Sport, Usyk said he wants to help those who have suffered from war in his home country.
His charity, the Usyk Foundation, has launched a major fundraising campaign to raise €1 million to purchase 50 ambulances to save Ukrainian lives amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Speaking about the conflict, he said: ‘My daily routine starts with picking up the phone and reading the news about how many rockets have hit kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities today.
Usyk recently told Mail Sport that he wants to help people suffering in Ukraine.
‘Every morning I check to see if all my friends and loved ones are alive and pray for their safety. And this is how millions of Ukrainians start their day.
‘Before the undisputed fight, I received many words of support from all over the world. “Those words inspire and motivate me.”
