Kmart Australia has thrilled its die-hard fans with another summer must-have, and it’s just $8.
Jelly sandals are back on the shelves of major retailers, this time aimed at adults, many of whom remember wearing them as children.
These fashion-forward shoes will allow customers to put their best (and most fun) look on during the holiday season and are available in clear, watermelon pink, and dark gray.
‘Finally, jelly sandals. I was waiting for you,’ praised one excited shopper.
‘My God, they’re back! I used to wear them religiously when I was little,” another agreed.
A third said she had “shivered” with excitement before heading to Kmart to buy a pair, and said she had saved her childhood jelly sandals “for this exact moment.”
Fans couldn’t help but notice that ’90s trends were in abundance at the popular store.

“Ra-ra skirts are coming back, all we need now are stirrup pants and we’re back to the ’90s,” said one.
But not everyone was excited about the shoe’s return after its 30-year hiatus.
“The sweat, the blisters, oh GOD, the PTSD,” one woman screamed.
“All millennials remember the blisters on these shoes,” said another.
A woman revealed that her feet got so slippery in a similar pair of shoes when she was a child that she sprained her ankle.
“One post and my nightmares are back,” added another.
But fans said there’s a simple solution to every potential “jelly shoe” problem.
‘Right where they with cute white socks. Simple,’ said one.
Younger fans, who couldn’t remember the last time the shoes were in style, were impressed.
“My God, look, how to kill,” said one.
“These are the cutest shoes, I need both colors,” said another.
There are similar sandals available in the children’s section, these range from $8 to $12.
