Kmart has refurbished Apple iPad Minis in stock for $269, Apple's latest iPad Mini model sells for $829

Kmart shoppers are rushing to stores across the country after seeing Apple’s iPad Mini 4 on shelves for the first time.

Apple’s iPad Mini is described as a “compact and powerful computer” with a sleek design; it’s available in space gray, gold, or silver.

Kmart’s refurbished iPads cost $269, come with Wi-Fi and cellular, and have a 128GB capacity.

An eagle-eyed shopper who noticed the “unexpected” item on Kmart’s website shared the deal with a group of members.

Buyers are delighted with the new technology offering and have no problem with its refurbished status, especially with inflation and the cost of living so high.

“Refurbished iPhones and other products are great, actually. You’re basically buying second-hand products that have been worked on by professionals to make them work as well as possible,” one woman said.

Others said these well-priced purchases would be a great, affordable way for kids to watch videos and play games.

However, some warned that the Mini 4, which was released in 2015, was an older model that might not accept some updates or work with all apps.

“My daughter has this iPad and it can’t be updated anymore, it’s so slow… you basically can’t download anything because it needs newer updates to do so,” one woman said.

Others who had sworn never to buy refurbished technology again quickly agreed.

‘Refurbished products are equivalent to other problematic items from customers that are returned to the store to be ‘fixed’ before being put back on sale. Buy refurbished products at your own risk,’ one man warned.

Shoppers noted that as well as Kmart stocking the refurbished Apple Minis, they were also available to buy at Woolworths and Coles.

Kmart fans have been excited lately about several new “must-buys,” including the $99 stain cleaner.

The spot cleaner has hundreds of positive reviews online with people saying they “can’t believe” how much dirt it sucks up from carpets, couches and car seats.

“I bought one after seeing a review online. I wasn’t disappointed. The dirty water color says it all. My couch looked clean, but it definitely wasn’t,” one woman said.
