A Kmart shopper revealed a “game-changing” dinner hack by creating a homemade taco station from an unlikely purchase.

The Queensland woman saw the $15 bamboo cutting board with drawers (it was $29, on sale now) and immediately knew she could turn it into a coffee shop.

The Kmart cutting board comes with four drawers and a compartment to place chopped products in containers.

The woman simply placed hard taco tortillas on top and used the drawers for carrots, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and meat.

‘Not sure who needs to see this, but this purchase ($15) is a great taco station!’ he said along with a picture of his setup.

While the board doesn’t have room for everything, you were able to easily store additional taco ingredients, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and taco sauce on another board.

The woman simply prepares her dinner and then takes it to bed to eat while watching television.

He added: “I also use mine all the time for normal cooking and I do it very organized.”

Another home chef cautioned that while the board is useful, it’s important to clean it thoroughly afterward.

“Just make sure you wash it properly and air dry it completely before putting it away,” she said. “Under the board it rusts.”
