Kmart has surprised shoppers by offering a popular European product that Australians have been “dying” to get their hands on.
Many have found “secret” Essence Cosmetics shopping stashes at their local Kmart stores ahead of the holiday season.
Essence is a German makeup brand best known for its quality products at low prices.
The brand has recently gained popularity in Australia: its lip gloss ($4.50) was the third best-selling product on Priceline in 2023.
Claudiafrom Melbourne, shared his joy in a video: ‘I don’t want to alarm anyone, but Kmart has a secret.
“I found out about many cheating exes in the past through pure private investigation, and now I discovered boxes of Essence in their boxes.”
Claudia discovered “many different products spread around” her local store.
The buyer purchased lip balm and lip oil at Kmart.

Essence’s fun box comes with several different products depending on which version you buy, but shoppers have reported receiving nail polish, beeswax lip balm, lipstick, lip oil, mascara, and more.
“I don’t think you understand how much I love Essence,” she enthused.
Others in Brisbane and Sydney have also reported finding Essence products in their local stores, but they are not yet available online.
Many shoppers have given five-star reviews to the brand’s famous mascara, saying it gives better results than products costing two or three times the price.
