He is the main star of a popular TV show that has been renewed for a fifth season.

But Riverdale star KJ Apa was busy Monday morning thanks to another project – the inspiring new romantic music film in which he plays the lead, I Still Believe.

The actor, 22, was present in New York City for performances on both Good Morning America and Live! With Kelly And Ryan to promote the film, which is based on the true story of Christian music singer Jeremy Camp and his first wife Melissa.

The actor born in New Zealand looked sharp in a navy blue trench coat that hung over his knees, which he wore over a lighter blue striped shirt and matching dark blue pants.

KJ’s shirt had a white stripe along with light and dark blue accents and had a collar with a zipper.

His boots were steel gray.

I still believe costar actress Britt Robertson, from Tomorrowland, The Longest Ride and The Secret Circle.

Gary Sinise and musician Shania Twain appear in the film as the parents of KJ’s character.

The film investigates the relationship between a young, emerging Jeremy (Apa) and Melissa (Robertson) in the face of a serious illness.

Camp, now 42, now produces 11 solo albums and two live albums.
