The King arrived this afternoon to meet military personnel and their families at a training base for the Royal Army Engineers.
Charles, Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Engineers, is visiting the 3rd Royal School of Military Engineering in Minley, Surrey, before speaking to members of the 8th Engineer Brigade, which is the centre’s deployable unit.
The training base has world-class facilities including shooting ranges, swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym and a boating lake.
The King is believed to have been receiving his cancer treatment on an outpatient basis during the week.
Yesterday he hosted the first party of the season in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

Charles, dressed in a gray suit and light blue vest, could be seen smiling at the crowd as he entered the garden with the Queen.
He was joined by the Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Charles attended three events last week when he resumed his commitments, indicating the positive effect of his treatment.
On Monday, Privy Council President Penny Mordaunt said the king is feeling “very well” and “would have loved” to return to public events.

Asked how Charles was doing, Mrs Mordaunt told GB News: “He’s very good.” And I know he would have loved to return to public office. She would have missed him tremendously.
“I think everyone is really happy to see him back and I know he wants to do more, so it’s been a good week.”

Charles and Harry last met shortly after the King announced his cancer diagnosis in February.
Harry, who lives with his family in California, traveled from the United States to see his father.
A spokesman for the Duke said: “In response to numerous inquiries and continued speculation as to whether or not the Duke will meet his father while in the UK this week, unfortunately this will not be possible due to Her Majesty’s full schedule.”
“The Duke, of course, understands his father’s diary of engagements and other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
