As Kate Middleton prepares for her eventual role as Queen of England, it appears that King Charles III and Queen Camilla have little interest in offering her guidance on the matter. Despite their strengthened bond, royal author Christopher Andersen reveals that Charles is staying away from discussing Kate’s future in the monarchy.
talking to fox news, Andersen explained that while Charles admires Kate’s composure, he is unwilling to address her future role as queen. “King Charles was so impressed with her grace and courage that he bestowed a singular honor on Kate, making her a Royal Companion of Honour, an unmistakable sign of his faith in her ability to help advance the monarchy,” Andersen said.
However, Charles has stopped short of offering advice. “The king is not going to give Kate advice on how to be a future queen. “That would simply give oxygen to the idea that he might not be here for much longer, and Charles III intends to remain on the throne for years to come,” Andersen added.
Camilla has also refrained from mentoring Kate. “For the same reason, Camilla hasn’t felt compelled to talk to Kate about what it means to be queen. “While Charles is fond of Kate, the best thing that can be said about the current and next queens is that they have a grudging respect for each other,” Andersen said.
Despite this hands-off attitude, broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard highlighted Charles’ confidence in Kate’s ability to take on the role when the time comes. “King Charles is comforted by the fact that Princess Catherine puts family first and would not have it any other way. The well-being of future heirs is paramount. “He knows that when the time comes, she will seamlessly become the perfect future queen,” Chard said.
Charles’ faith in Kate was further demonstrated by his decision to make her a Royal Companion of Honour, reflecting her growing influence within the monarchy. Kate continues to focus on her current royal duties and family life, earning admiration for her poise and dedication to the crown.
