Katie Price, 45, reveals she’s been dating her new boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, for MONTHS, but says she’s “struggling” to cope with “a lot of drama” in her life.

Katie Price revealed she’s been dating her new boyfriend, JJ Slater, for months and opened up about their relationship on Thursday.

The glamor model, 45, and the MAFS star, 31, went public with their new romance last week after a series of dates and a romantic getaway together.

Fans have continually shared their fears that the mother-of-five is “heading for disaster” with her new love, but she has now confirmed that it is not a sudden decision.

Speaking on his podcast The Katie Price ShowKatie said: ‘Now we’ve become official.

“It’s not like I just met him and people will find out how long we’ve been messaging and seeing each other, maybe next week I’ll tell you on the show.”

‘The thing is that in my life I don’t want to tell anyone absolutely everything, especially when it comes to relationships, because it didn’t happen that way.

“I wasn’t even looking for a relationship, but yeah, we can talk more about that next week.”

Katie went on to comment that she faces “a lot of drama” in her life every minute and is struggling to cope.

She continued: “I have a lot of drama in my life. I have a mental block, I’m seeing my therapist and a consultant because my head is fuzzy and I’m dealing with a lot of things.”

“Some things I just can’t deal with and they’re normal things that people can deal with.”

Last week, Katie and JJ attended GKBarry’s latest Saving Grace podcast at the London Palladium, where Katie performed her single I Got You to a sold-out crowd.

After the show, the new couple headed to a bar in London and shared several love snaps.

But fans quickly took to the comments to share their fears that she has moved on too quickly with JJ.

One wrote: “I feel sorry for her… because you know this is going to end in disaster.”

Another wrote: “Be alone for a while Katie, love yourself.”

A third said: ‘Jj desperate for fame. KP desperate for a man and to feel young!’

However, other fans came to her defense as she moves on from her years-long on-again, off-again engagement to Love Island star Carl Woods, with whom she split in late 2023.

One wrote: “Leave them alone…if Katie is happy, so be it…life is too short to gossip and criticize people…jeez.”

Katie confirmed her romance with JJ in a gushing social media post.

Sharing a selfie with JJ as the two embraced, she wrote: “They say things happen for a reason, that the unexpected happened.” Destination. Meets all requirements.

‘@johnjoeslater you have shown me that you are a true gentleman and that you completely except me.’

JJ sweetly responded in the comments section: ‘Fate… thank you so much for being you.’

Katie had talked about marrying and starting a family with her ex-boyfriend Carl Woods many times in recent years, but announced she had split from him when she took to social media while watching the New Year with her friend Kerry Katona.

In addition to her recent split from Carl following the couple’s on-off relationship, Katie also has three ex-husbands, Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.

The mother-of-five shares her eldest son Harvey, 21, with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter, and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran.

Katie has reportedly introduced her new boyfriend JJ to some of her children as the couple’s romance intensifies.

Katie and JJ embarked on a romantic ski trip to Bulgaria, from which they shared snaps exclusively with MailOnline.

A source said: ‘Katie has already introduced JJ to her younger children. It is very important to her that he gets along with them, as they are a big part of her life.

“They’ve been talking for a while but it seems like it’s getting serious.”
