Kate Moss is ‘out for an OBE nod for her services to modelling’

She appeared atop a 90s rave bus at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant earlier this month.

And Kate Moss is reportedly hoping for a royal honor as the supermodel would like to receive an OBE for her services to modeling.

Hoping to make her mark on Her Majesty, the 48-year-old played a dominant role in the Pageant celebrations, joining other 90s icons such as Naomi Campbell and Patsy Kensit on the bus.

According to The sunit’s part of her royal mission for the honor, as the publication revealed that Kate has quietly told friends she would “absolutely love it” to win a wink in the next lap of honor.

And to achieve this, the supermodel has stepped up her charity work and left her mark on the Queen.

The model wore a Union Jack jacket for the anniversary celebrations and stood at the top of the open-top bus, which also featured her photo on the side, as it made its way through the capital.

And now living in the Cotswolds, Kate also regularly delivers home-cooked meals to the elderly, which come from her brother Nick – who runs a Vietnamese food delivery truck called Vietvan.

Her efforts have become a treat with locals as they have reportedly gone to the government’s official webpage to nominate her for the OBE.

Residents of Kate’s town, Little Faringdon, described her as “really popular” and “part of the community” and explained that they would love to see her with the honour.

One resident told The Sun: ‘She has no airs and graces and talks to everyone. She has also started giving back and distributing food and meals to the elderly who cannot go outside.

“There’s been a lot of talk in the village about how Kate earns an OBE. She is a huge admirer of the Queen and made herself a major mainstay at the anniversary. Having an BLE would mean a lot to her.

“She’s never come across as haughty or upright and she deserves a gong,” the local continued.

MailOnline has reached out to Kate Moss’ representatives for comment.

Growing up in Croyden, Kate traded her city life for a quiet country life in 2021, closing the door to her drunken reputation.

Now a teetotaler, the clean-living star has traded all-night partying for yoga and dog walks after being discovered at age 14 and embarking on a turbulent childhood in the spotlight.

Kate began dating wild rocker Chris Doherty in 2004 and famously lost a string of high profile modeling gigs after being caught on drugs.

The star was pictured snorting cocaine while out with Pete, which resulted in him losing a £4 million deal with H&M.

But she’s turned things around and continues to be a hit with fans for her charitable efforts and her recent testimony during ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp’s defamation trail with Amber Heard.

Since she’s looking for an OBE for modeling, it wouldn’t be the first time fashion has found its place in Buckingham Palace.

Edward Enninful, editor-in-chief of British Vogue and a friend of Kate, was previously awarded an OBE in 2016 for Services to Diversity in the Fashion industry.

And after appearing on the cover of British Vogue a total of 30 times, which is more than anyone else, it could be on the cards for the model.
