Kanye West’s Calabasas ranch is in ruins, and the latest photos of the $2.2 million home show it abandoned and in very poor condition.
It’s a far cry from the home enjoyed by the rapper’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who has remained in the $60 million family compound with the former couple’s four children since the once-power couple split in 2021.
Kim’s Calabasas compound is just eight miles from Kanye’s dilapidated ranch, which was initially purchased in 2018 and used for Sunday service and the headquarters of the rapper’s Donda Academy.
The star had also purchased an additional 300 acres surrounding the property for $4 million.

However, the latest images reveal that the house is still uninhabited and in disrepair, with one image showing a large hole in the main entrance, leaving debris and pieces of the roof scattered on the ground.
Kanye reportedly lived at the property with his then-model girlfriend Irina Shayk while converting the house into a bachelor pad.
There are reportedly two guesthouses on the property with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in total.
The domes on the property, now gone, were 50-foot ‘Ye Ecosystems’.
West built the domes through the architecture arm of his Yeezy brand, called Yeezy Home, which he launched in 2018. “We’re looking for architects and industrial designers who want to improve the world,” he said at the time.
In an interview with Forbes A year later, the rapper showed off early versions of the domes, which he had conceived with a team of designers after being inspired by the fictional Star Wars planet Tatooine.
He planned to build lots of prefabricated structures as housing for the homeless, and even floated ideas of sinking them into the ground with light filtering through their roofs.

The building’s amenities include “heated pool, rooftop café, private movie theater, valet, bar and lounge, and 24-hour concierge service,” Page Six reported in May.

He enlisted the help of architect Tadao Ando and hired top contractors to oversee the extensive remodeling plans.
But construction on Kanye’s $60 million Malibu mansion was halted last year after the rapper dissolved his construction company handling the project amid his financial woes over his public anti-Semitic comments.
Malibu neighbors told TMZ in April 2023 that their mansion was “rotted” and that they hadn’t “seen anyone around there for many months.”
His anti-Semitic rants also caused him to lose about $1.6 billion of his net worth and left him off Forbes’ billionaires list, CBS News recently reported.
West also owns land in Calabasas, as well as a sprawling ranch in Wyoming where he spent much of his time in the final days of his marriage to Kim.
