Experts are expressing growing concern about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s financial prospects in 2025, particularly in light of the couple’s uncertain income sources. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams discussed these concerns in a recent conversation with GB News, pointing out the critical role Netflix plays in the couple’s financial stability.
Fitzwilliams stressed that the couple’s £80million deal with Netflix is ”absolutely critical” for their plans to go ahead. “What they need is their cooking series for Netflix,” he stated, highlighting that the renewal of this contract in 2024 is crucial for their financial future.
He explained that his success depends largely on this agreement, stating: “What is absolutely fundamental is the renewal of the contract with Netflix next year, so precisely what happens financially in the coming months is vital.”
Fitzwilliams also commented on how the couple has handled their work separation, noting that it “seems to be working out perfectly well.” So far, no major problems. He continued by explaining how this strategy has allowed them to maintain a constant presence in the media and at the same time manage to keep their personal and professional lives separate.
However, Fitzwilliams expressed concern about the couple’s lack of substantial income from other sources. “They lost Spotify a while ago, and it doesn’t seem like we know anything financially substantial is coming,” he said.
