Julia Stiles is now a mother of three children.
The 10 Things I Hate About You star, 43, secretly welcomed a baby boy with husband Preston Cook five months ago.
She made the surprise revelation to The New York Times Wednesday while talking about her first film as a director Wish You Were Here.
“I’m a bundle of emotions, because I have a five-month-old baby and I started directing my first movie,” Stiles said.
The New York City native did not share the baby’s gender or date of birth.
Stiles and Cook, who married in 2017, also share two sons: Strummer, six, and Arlo, two.

She acknowledged to the NYT that she “didn’t really talk publicly” about her third pregnancy.
Stiles then turned the conversation toward directing and how motherhood has helped “train” her.
‘I think being a mother is really great training for being a director. You have to think 10 steps ahead but also be in the present moment,’ she explained.
‘You have to be good at time management. You have to be sensitive to people’s needs and guide them, but also set limits.’
In addition to being behind the camera, Stiles co-wrote the screenplay for Wish You Were Here with Renée Carlino.
It stars Kelsey Grammer, Jennifer Gray and Stiles’ younger sister, Jane Stiles.
Wish You Were Here is currently in post-production, having wrapped filming in February.
A release date has not yet been announced.
The Jason Bourne star met her husband Peter and they have been together for almost a decade.
The couple met in 2014 on the set of Stiles’ thriller Go With Me (2015) and began dating that same year.

A rep for Stiles said Us weekly at the time the wedding took place on the beach in Seattle over Labor Day weekend. Two friends were present at the wedding.

She shared the news on Instagram and included an adorable image of the little one’s little hand grasping his father’s thumb.
Captioning the snap, Julia wrote: ‘Strummer Newcomb Cook, born October 20, 2017.
‘Thank you and always thank you to the extraordinary doctors, nurses and staff at Mount Sinai for helping us bring this absolute joy into our lives. “Hello World!” (sic)’
