Julia Fox has paid an emotional tribute to her friend, the late TikTok star Eva Evans, following her death.
Evans, a budding influencer, writer and director, passed away at age 29.

Now Fox has responded to the news with an emotional video, paying tribute to the ‘New York icon’ whom it referred to as ‘like a little sister’.
“That was the kind of person he was, always standing up for me,” the Uncut Gems star said through tears.

“Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, loving and fun Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Joy wrote in a tribute on Instagram on Sunday.
Fox also paid tribute to Evans on Instagram and reshared the post that informed fans of his death.
‘She passed away and she was very young, she still had a lot to do in life. But she lived life to the fullest.”
He also expressed regret that Evans’ death came so quickly after that of fellow TikTok star Kyle Marissa Roth, who recently died at the age of 36.
“I don’t know what’s going on because we just lost Kyle,” Fox sobbed. “I live on this app a lot and sometimes I feel like you guys are my family.”
Reality star Lo Bosworth also expressed her condolences in Evans’ last Instagram post before her death.
‘Rest in peace, angel Eva, you were always kind to me when others couldn’t be bothered. “I will never forget that kindness,” the Hills alum wrote.
Evans’ family has not revealed the cause of his death, but announced that a celebration of life will be held in lower Manhattan on Tuesday.
“Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, loving and fun Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Joy wrote.
“After 24 hours, I’m still in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how incredible and difficult it will be to process this news,” Joy added.

The cause of death was not revealed, but Joy announced a celebration of life to be held Tuesday in lower Manhattan.
“I would like to have Eva here now to refer me because she would have better words and would know how to say what I don’t,” he continued.
Joy concluded, “I’ll keep it brief so we can plan the next few days, but you’ll hear a lot more from me about how much Eva means to me and how different the world will be without her.” ‘
The comments section was filled with an outpouring of love and support from those who knew Evans.
“The loss is unfathomable, for those of us who were lucky enough to have known her brilliance and goodness, but also for the world, which is not the place it should be without her,” one person wrote.
Another added: “I’m so sorry for your loss.” She was unique. Her art and her stories brought joy and humor to many of us New Yorkers during difficult times. We will miss this icon.’
