Perth radio personality Kymba Cahill recalled her own experience as a stalker on Monday.

Mix94.5 host Pete & Kymba for Breakfast was talking about the new Netflix series ‘Baby Reindeer’, based on a comedian’s experience with a stalker, when she opened up about her own encounter with a stalker.

“I don’t know who the person was and they kept coming into the reception area asking to see me or pretending that they had a meeting booked to see me and that they had a time reserved,” he revealed.

“He came back several times and it got to the point where they were calling me and telling me ‘don’t come to work yet because he’s here and he’s not leaving, because he’s waiting for you.'”

It wasn’t long before security intervened to escort Cahill to and from work.

“Management arranged for security to follow me from home every day and take me home every day, so that this person would not be around.”

‘We had the police involved; We had all the CCTV footage so we could see if I could recognize him,” she added.

Cahill revealed that after two months, the stalker finally disappeared.

It comes just weeks after Kate Ritchie’s stalker nightmare came to light earlier this month.

It was revealed that she made a phone call to NSW Police after receiving a message from Gerard Ryan, 71, saying he was in the suburb where she lives and was hoping to find her.

He had sent him “hundreds” of messages from February 2022 to April 2023, including “numerous photographs of the accused naked and numerous videos of the accused masturbating”, police facts seen by the Daily Telegraphhe claimed.

“I don’t know who the person was and they kept coming into the reception area asking to see me or pretending that they had a meeting booked to see me and that they had a time reserved,” he revealed.

Ryan was arrested in a park in Sydney’s eastern suburbs last month and charged with stalking, to which he pleaded guilty.

He also received a violence order prohibiting him from approaching Ritchie.

Ryan was sentenced to a 12 month Probation Order and an AVO states that he must not come within 500 meters of Ritchie’s home or workplace.

Police facts also indicated that Ryan had said he wanted to marry Ritchie and referred to his daughter, saying he would be “a good stepfather.”

In February, he sent a letter to his work address that included a Valentine’s Day card.
