Australian fashion stylist Jules Sebastian has unveiled the $ 5 product she swears by for making cafe-style poached eggs at home.
The mother-of-two and wife of singer Guy Sebastian said she uses Wiltshire compostable ‘Poachies’ – non-stick pouches that poach eggs perfectly every time without having to stir hot water or add vinegar.
“I’m a brunch lover and always order a poached egg when I’m out because I can’t make one myself,” Jules said in a video on Instagram.
“I’ve never been able to nail poached eggs, I’ve tried swirling the water and the vinegar … it’s always a blast or I always overcook them.”

The 41-year-old said she was able to perfect her poached eggs at home in less than 10 minutes – simply by using the Poachies, which come in a pack of 20 – meaning they cost just 25 cents each.
This is actually astonishing. I have tried and tested these, and guess what? I made a perfectly poached egg and it was delicious, runny and excellent, ‘she explained.
The TV presenter started by boiling a pot of water.
She then placed a Poachie in a cup, with the top flaps open, and broke an egg in it.
She repeated the step with a second egg. Then she took both flaps together and dipped the pouches vertically in the gently bubbling water.

Jules poached the eggs in water for four to six minutes. Once the eggs were cooked to her liking, she removed the Poachies with tongs.

“Perfection,” said Jules, cutting the eggs.
Test the taste time. This is restaurant quality … I’d pay money for this, ”she said.
‘The eggs are poached to perfection. I am shocked that I made this. [Poaching eggs] is something I can’t do, but I can now. Absolutely wonderful. ‘
