Johnny Depp and Al Pacino reunite at the Paris premiere of Depp’s new film Jean de Paris… more than 25 years after they starred in Donnie Brasco
More than 25 years after Johnny Depp and Al Pacino starred in the horror thriller Donnie Brasco, the cast is reunited again in Paris.
Depp, 59, and Pacino, 83, were spotted at the Cinema du Pantheon in Paris for the premiere of Depp’s film Jean de Paris.
The film — written and directed by Depp’s co-star Maywen — will also be the opening film at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on May 16.
Depp – who made headlines earlier this month for turning down Ocean’s 11 – appeared in a black Johnny Cash T-shirt under a gray button-down shirt and a gray trench coat.
He also donned a blue denim hoodie and brown-rimmed glasses with a number of necklaces, bracelets, and rings for the outing.

He wore a thin beard and a soul piece with his long hair falling out of his castle as he left the stage in Paris.
Depp completed his look with blue jeans with black cuts and spots, while he completed his look with a pair of black shoes.
Pacino chose an all-black look, with a black shirt without a tie, and a silver necklace hanging from his neck.
He also wore a black trench coat and black sunglasses with a white scarf hanging from his shoulders.
The acting legend completed his look with black leggings and black sneakers with white soles.
Jeanne du Barry is a historical drama based on the title character, a favorite of King Louis XV, played by Depp.
The title character is described as “a culture-hungry, hedonistic young working-class woman who uses her wit and charisma to climb one rung after another of the social ladder.”
Jeanne and Louis fall madly in love and she moves in with him in Versailles, which scandalizes the French court.

The film is Depp’s first live-action project since 2020’s Minamata, though he is set to return to work behind the camera as director, with Pacino as producer.
It was reported in August 2022 that Depp would direct Modigliani, a film about Italian sculptor and painter Amedeo Modigliani.
Pacino is set to produce the project alongside Depp and Barry Navidi, and production is set to begin sometime this year.
There are no release plans at this time and it’s not clear exactly when filming will begin.
