JLS star Oritsé Williams has shared his joy at welcoming a child, calling it a “blessing” after he and his wife suffered two heartbreaking miscarriages.
The 37-year-old singer, who is already the father of 10-year-old Omré, the result of a previous relationship, said OK!: ‘I’m on cloud nine. “I am completely in awe of my baby, he is truly a blessing and I am proud of us.”
Oritsé revealed that the little one’s name is Shiva Zion Olumidé Williams, which means destroyer of darkness but also creator.
Speaking about her struggle to conceive, Kazz, 40, revealed she discovered she was pregnant the day they met with specialists to discuss IVF as an option.
She said: ‘After the meeting I started to feel a bit unwell so I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I couldn’t believe it.’
In an emotional admission, Kazz revealed that she was “happy and scared” when she heard the news and that due to her devastating losses she was “paralyzed with anxiety.”

The singer, 37, and his wife of two years, Kaz, 40, were going to explore IVF when they heard the happy news.
The couple scheduled weekly private scans in a bid to reassure them both that everything was fine and it was here they discovered that Kazz had gestational diabetes and had to change his diet.
Speaking about her journey, Oritsé said: ‘We are grateful for the support and love we have received. We had no idea that many of our friends had also gone through the same thing.”

Marketing manager and former singer Kazz met Oritsé in 2019 after connecting on social media.
The couple married in 2022, which he described as “one of the most magical moments” of his life.

The wedding, which she described as a fairy tale, saw them exchange vows in front of five of their closest friends at the Zoëtry boutique hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Prior to her relationship with Kazz, Oritsé welcomed her son Omré in 2014 with her ex Aimee Jade Azari. The couple split in 2016, a year and a half after AJ gave birth.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain in April, Oritse revealed that she was just 12 years old when she became the primary caregiver for her mother, her younger sister Naomi, who was two at the time, and her brother Temisan, who was then 10. years.
