Jill Biden wrote on her Twitter account upon her arrival in Cairo, thanking the wife of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi: “Thank you for the warm welcome to Egypt, the mother of the world.”
The US embassy in Cairo stated, in a press statement, that Egypt is the second stop of Dr. Biden’s week-long tour, which includes 4 countries in the region, which began in Jordan.
