Following the news that Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, Democrats are turning to an unexpected person to take on the Republican Party in 2028: John F. Kennedy’s social media star grandson, Jack Schlossberg.
Since it was announced that Donald, 78, would be returning to office, X, formerly Twitter, has been inundated with posts from people begging Jack, 31, to run for president in the next election.
Many have noted that Vogue’s political correspondent will turn 35 in the next election – the minimum age required to be president – and announced that they would vote for him if he joined the race.
One person described Jack as the country’s “last hope,” while another said she was excited about the idea of living under a “hot President Kennedy.”
“I can’t wait to be alive for a handsome President Kennedy.” ‘I’ll finally be living my mid-century dream,’ they joked.
“Jack Schlossberg could solve all my problems,” another user tweeted.

“The only way to get back into a voting booth is to elect Pete Buttigieg or Jack Schlossberg,” another person confessed.
“He has my vote,” read a fifth tweet, while a sixth said: “I can participate 100%.”
“I really think the American people are dull enough that their faces can influence swing votes,” someone else theorized.
“We need attractive people in the office,” another user agreed.
Jack, a graduate of Harvard Law School, previously expressed his desire to follow in his famous grandfather’s footsteps and enter the world of politics to Fashion.
“I am inspired by my family’s legacy of public service,” he said. ‘I take it very seriously and want to contribute in my own way.
“I have big dreams, but I also know that today I am trying to make a positive impact.”

At that time, the publication revealed that there was recruited him as its newest political correspondent.
Jack, son of JFK and his wife, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ only surviving daughter, Caroline Kennedy, and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg, attended Yale University for his undergraduate studies, followed by Harvard Law School for his mastery.
He received his JD and MBA from the latter and passed the bar exam in 2022.
He has long shown an interest in politics, associating with senior officials at a young age alongside his famous mother and giving numerous politically-oriented speeches over the years.
He told Vogue that his love of politics emerged in 2007 after his uncle, Senator Edward ‘Teddy’ Kennedy, asked him what he thought of Barack Obama, who was running for president at the time.
‘(I told him) how much I loved him and thought he was the real deal. “I know my Uncle Teddy was just humoring me, but I also felt like he wanted to hear a young man’s opinion and he took it seriously,” he recalled.
‘He and my mother endorsed Obama right after he won the South Carolina primary. I felt so involved, so listened to, so excited about politics and I felt that anything could happen and that I could make a difference.”

He recalled feeling like he was “not good at anything” before that, but after getting “into politics a lot” he felt a new excitement in life.
“At that point in my life, I really wasn’t good at anything. “I was pretty bad at sports and I was a bad student,” he continued.
‘But suddenly Obama was running and all he wanted to do was watch the news every day. “I got really into politics and I felt like it was the most exciting thing I had ever seen in my life.”
He also recalled a time in 10th grade when his class was learning about his grandfather’s presidency and he felt “uncomfortable,” so he started “goofing around.”
He said his teacher called him to answer a question and when he didn’t know the answer, it made him want to go out and learn everything he could about JFK.
‘That day I went home and started reading. “That’s when I started getting serious about learning about my family and that inspired me a lot,” he explained.
Jack has become a social media sensation in recent months and has amassed over 415,000 followers on Instagram and 468,000 on TikTok.
