A prison worker admitted to having an affair with an inmate behind bars.
Mum-of-two Jessica Jade Elguindy, 25, was supported by her husband Mitch and the jail boss’ father on Wednesday as she faced Penrith Local Court.
He pleaded guilty to entering into an intimate relationship with a prisoner, accessing restricted data and behaving improperly as a public office holder.

Elguindy pleaded guilty to having an intimate relationship with a prisoner, accessing restricted data and behaving improperly as a holder of public office.
Elguindy’s attorney said she would request that the charges be addressed on mental health grounds, Penrith Press reported.
The married former prison administration assistant was working at the Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Center in Sydney when she embarked on a four-month affair with convict Beau Jones.
X-rated messages, photos and videos were sent using a phone that had been smuggled into the prison.
Elguindy has since resigned from the prison, which is run by his father, NSW Correctional Services Superintendent Walid ‘Wally’ Elguindy.
Elguindy’s attorney said she would request that the charges be addressed on mental health grounds.

Elguindy’s former co-worker and best friend, Amber Clavell, is accused of having an affair with bank robber Mark Kennedy, 27, behind bars and allegedly pregnant.
Clavell is charged with having an intimate relationship with an inmate, two counts of accessing or modifying restricted data, bringing prohibited drugs into a place of care and supplying drugs.
He has not yet entered a plea and his next court appearance will be June 4.
