It comes after Jessica was criticized by fans for an ’embarrassing’ video endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
The star posted a clip of Harris, 59, discussing the impact of Latina-owned small businesses last week.
In the video, Alba, dressed in a tan pantsuit, stood next to Harris as she listened. “First of all, Latino small businesses are the fastest growing in the country,” Harris said, as Alba snapped her fingers in the air three times and responded, “Yes, they are.”
Many of the Mexican-American star’s 20.6 million Instagram followers described their interaction as “awkward,” a “train wreck” and a “desperate move.”
“False and shameful,” one follower wrote, while another added: “My God, how you fell.” This is so embarrassing.’
“I thought this was an SNL parody,” someone else chimed in.
“Shame doesn’t even touch how painfully embarrassing this is.”

The comments continued to criticize the clip as “embarrassing” and “very embarrassing.”
After saying that small Latino businesses are the fastest growing in the country, the presidential candidate added: “But that includes that we do not lack people who have ambition, aspirations and dreams and an idea that is a great idea and Ethics of job.’
“But not everyone has access to the capital.”
“Very true,” Alba responded.
Alba captioned the clip writing, “Latin small businesses are the fastest growing in the country, and when we grow and strengthen them, we all benefit.”
Some of Alba’s followers said they would unfollow her and stop supporting her beauty and baby company, Honest Co.
“I will never buy Honest products again because of your support of this woman and the damage she has done to our country,” one wrote.
“I’ve been following you for years but I finally unfollowed you, enjoy your paycheck,” another added.
‘So she’s talking to a millionaire actress instead of a real Latina small business owner who started from nothing,’ another follower questioned.
On Monday, Jessica also shared a series of photos from a Harris campaign event in Arizona, where she was joined by other celebrities including Kerry Washington, Glenn Close and Michael Early.

In July, after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Alba endorsed Harris with an Instagram post, sharing a few snaps of them together.
“I’ve been riding with you for a hot minute, excited for you to make history @kamalaharris Let’s go!” she wrote.
Several other stars have supported Harris, including Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Rodrigo, George Clooney and Barbra Streisand.
