Beau Lamarre-Condon was photographed in the crowd at a Jessica Mauboy concert, wearing his New South Wales Police uniform, just a week before he allegedly murdered two people at a home in Sydney.

The former police officer, 28, allegedly used his police-issued Glock pistol to shoot Channel Ten presenter Jesse Baird, 26, and her boyfriend Luke Davies, 29, at a Paddington rental around 9:50 am on February 19.

He then allegedly stuffed their bodies into surfboard bags and dumped them at a remote property in Bungonia, about 180 kilometers south of Sydney, before handing himself over to police on February 23.

It can now be revealed that Lamarre-Condon, a well-known celebrity hunter who has taken selfies with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, attended Mauboy’s concert at Westfield Bondi Junction at 4pm on February 12.

Sources told Daily Mail Australia that mall security became confused when he turned up and said he was their police guard.

New South Wales Police could not confirm whether Lamarre-Condon was on duty at Bondi Junction that day, but a police spokesperson said celebrities are normally guarded by private security.

They said officers are typically at concerts for crowd control purposes, rather than performing guard duties.

A week later, he allegedly murdered Mr Baird and Mr Davies.

While Baird was initially reported to be Lamarre-Condon’s ‘ex-boyfriend’, friends of the Studio 10 host later clarified that they were never in a relationship.

Before Lamarre-Condon joined the New South Wales Police in 2019, he used to go out several times a week and chase celebrities around Sydney, hoping to ambush them.

He became a celebrity blogger who interviewed Hollywood heavyweights on the Golden Globes red carpet and posted selfies with the likes of Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Russel Crowe and Miranda Kerr on his blog ThatsTheTea.com.

In 2014, he met Lady Gaga at a concert and came out as gay through a note he threw to her on stage, which she read aloud, revealing her sexuality to an audience of 15,000 people.

The note said ‘Gaga, you are not just my idol but LITERALLY my (savior)’, and was her way of thanking the singer for giving her the courage to tell her parents that she was gay.

He was taken backstage to meet her after the show and later said in a radio interview, “She came out for me.”

A close friend of his said that meeting Lady Gaga “was his greatest moment and was like a drug for him that he continued to pursue.”

Police initially described Mr. Baird and Lamarre-Condon’s relationship as an “on-and-off” romance, but friends said it was just a “friends with benefits” arrangement.

The agreement ended when Baird said he did not want to get into a relationship.

Lamarre-Condon allegedly put their bodies in surfboard bags, covered them with a blue tarp and left them in the backyard of Mr Baird’s Paddington rental.

A housemate approached and pushed one of the two surfboard bags around 5:40 p.m. that afternoon, according to police documents.

She told police the contents felt “lumpy, not like it had a surfboard inside” and that she had also noticed red-stained cobblestones under the bags.

The woman assumed the tiles had been stained by beet juice spilled by Mr Baird, known to his fellow tenants for being “messy”.

The housemates took photographs of the bags and a blood-stained outdoor lounge, police will allege.

About 12 hours later, Lamarre-Condon allegedly collected the bodies in a white rental van and drove them to a remote farm property in Bungonia, about 180 kilometers south of Sydney.

The senior officer is alleged to have returned to the scene to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia, about a 20-minute drive from the original location.

There was an extensive search for the couple, but Lamarre-Condon initially did not tell police where their bodies were located.

He then spoke with a lawyer on February 27, more than a week after the alleged murders.

The remains of Mr Baird and Mr Davies were found inside surf bags and buried in a shallow grave that afternoon.

Lamarre-Condon is currently at the Silverwater Correctional Complex in western Sydney.

His matter is before the courts.
