The actor’s trip to Six Flags comes 3 months after he was nearly killed in a horrific snow plow accident that left 30 of his bones broken.

The star’s latest post comes after his Hollywood career has come under huge doubt, with a source close to the star recently revealing that acting is no longer a ‘priority’ for him after the horrific snow plow accident.

An insider who recently spent time with Jeremy told DailyMail.com EXCLUSIVELY that “even though he still loves acting, Hollywood just isn’t a priority for him anymore.”

According to the source, Jeremy’s focus has shifted away from his on-screen career in the aftermath of a terrifying New Year’s Day accident at his Lake Tahoe home in which he was crushed under 14,000 pounds of snow, fracturing more than 30 bones.

“Jeremy believes he survived the accident so he can use his platform to make real change in the world,” the insider said.

“He’s very proud of the work he’s done, but this whole situation really showed him that there’s so much more he can do to help others,” says the insider.

Jeremy has since left the Lake Tahoe home where the accident occurred and has returned to his Los Angeles property, where he is focusing on his recovery – after being left unable to walk as a result of the injuries he sustained during the accident.

The source went on to say that Jeremy’s mum Valerie, 69 – who accompanied him to the 2010 Oscars – has been a “tremendous” source of support for the star, revealing that she has been “by his side as much as she can be”.

His mother comes to stay with him most weekends, as does his daughter Ava, says the friend, referring to his nine-year-old with ex Sonni Pocheco.

The friend added, ‘He’s really just focused on his recovery and doing rehab to learn how to walk again. Jeremy knows he is very lucky to be alive.

“Every day is a little better than before and he’s definitely making progress, but the progress is slow.”

DailyMail.com has contacted Jeremy’s spokesperson for additional comment.

On New Year’s Day, Jeremy was run over by a seven-ton snowplow while helping his nephew remove his cart from the driveway at his home near Reno, Nevada, after the vehicle got stuck in the snow.

However, his snow plow started skidding on the street after the car was pulled over, prompting the actor to jump out of the cab.

After getting out of the car, Renner realizes he could potentially hit his nephew, who was with him at the time of the accident. The star mayor of Kingstown then attempted to re-enter the snow plow in order to divert but was pulled under his left lane and run over during the attempt.

On a 911 call made by a neighbor, Jeremy could be heard in agony in the background. The caller feared he might bleed due to his injury.

He was airlifted to a hospital in Reno where he was listed in critical condition with 30 broken bones, a shattered chest and a collapsed torso.
