In preparation for her role in the action movie Peppermint, Garner began working with celeb nutritionist Kelly LeVeque. LeVeque is the mastermind behind Alba’s smoothie (she also works with Chelsea Handler, Emmy Rossum, and Molly Sims), and she’s known for what she calls her Fab Four formula: a drink with enough protein, fat, fiber, and veggies to keep you going for hours. full.

“I started with [LeVeque] a few months ago to get ready for #PEPPERMINTmovie and has been using her smoothie for breakfast every day since then,” Garner captioned a recent Instagram video of the smoothie making process.

Normally the drink calls for fresh blueberries, but the mother of three had an ingenious hack for the recipe. “I decided to play scientist and see if my @onceuponafarm cold-pressed organic mash (or baby food, if you’re a baby, but whatever) could be a substitute for fresh blueberries when I didn’t see any in the fridge. Yes , that could be,” she wrote.

(FYI, Garner is a co-founder of Once Upon A Farm.) Thankfully, Garner has provided the entire recipe in the caption so you can try it out at home.
