Jacob Elordi has given his opinion on a viral trend inspired by her own fashion choices.
The 27-year-old Australian actor was photographed in a Sydney airport bookshop last year carrying several books, one of them stuffed into his trouser pockets.
The Euphoria star has also been spotted sporting a novel from her back pocket at other airports or cafes.
Social media users have since imitated the Saltburn star’s style, attempting to fit their favourite books into the pockets of their jeans and trousers.
When a man recently asked Jacob about this strange trend, Heart Radio The journalist seemed confused.
“You started an epidemic of men carrying books in their back pockets,” the journalist said.
“What do you think of the book in your back pocket? Other kids do it for you,” he asked.
“I think people should go out more, maybe,” he replied.

The social media trend began almost immediately after the Hollywood star was filmed shopping for books in Sydney.
A TikToker named george.bower filmed himself trying to fit his favorite books into his jeans.
He subtitled Your video‘See if my favorite books pass Jacob Elordi’s challenge of carrying a book in your pants pocket’ before ‘trying on’ several hardcover books in the pockets of his jeans.
“You started an epidemic of men carrying books in their back pockets,” the reporter said. “What do you think about the book in your back pocket? Other men do it for you,” she asked.
Another TikTok user named grandpasbookclub posed in a video in a white shirt and navy blue pants, before turning around to reveal a book in his back pocket.
In the caption, the social media user, who has more than 12,000 likes on his post, wrote: “Another Aussie turning on Jacob Elordi mode.”
Elordi began his career in 2018 appearing in the Australian films Swinging Safari and The Very Excellent Mr Dundee.
“I think people should go out more, maybe,” Jacob replied.
He moved to Los Angeles several years later after being cast in the popular American teen drama Euphoria.
The Saltburn star has also appeared in two newsreels and a miniseries, all focusing on different real-life wars.
In the film Oh, Canada, which was released in May, Elordi starred alongside co-star Richard Gere in the complex drama that explores the life of a Vietnam War draft dodger.
Elordi will also appear in the film On Swift Horses alongside British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, about people rebuilding their lives after the Korean War.
He will also star in the Australian miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which focuses on the love story of a doctor during World War II.
