The social media trend began almost immediately after the Hollywood star was filmed shopping for books in Sydney.

A TikToker named george.bower filmed himself trying to fit his favorite books into his jeans.

Another TikTok user named grandpasbookclub posed in a video in a white shirt and navy blue pants, before turning around to reveal a book in his back pocket.

In the caption, the social media user, who has more than 12,000 likes on his post, wrote: “Another Aussie turning on Jacob Elordi mode.”

Elordi began his career in 2018 appearing in the Australian films Swinging Safari and The Very Excellent Mr Dundee.
