NRL player Jack de Belin ignored a teen’s plea to “ quit ” before raping her and asking a male friend to join, a Sydney jury has heard.

The woman claims the footballer undressed her, split her legs and forced herself on her in a bedroom in North Wollongong in December 2018.

“I said stop,” she said.

“Nobody listened to me, so tears came from my eyes.”

The St George Illawarra attacker, 30, and Callan Sinclair, 23, are on trial in Sydney District Court on multiple charges of aggravated sexual assault for meeting the then 19-year-old.

Both men have argued that they were not guilty of all charges and said there was mutual consent.

In recorded evidence played before the Sydney jury on Thursday, the woman said the men made comments about her body when the Belin raped her.

‘They said’ you have a nice rack with you, ‘then said’ you have a nice rig too, ” said the woman, who cannot be identified.

She wasn’t sure how long it took for Sinclair to take off his clothes to participate because “I just went dead and numb inside.”

‘I just let it happen. I couldn’t fight back, ”she said.

After the Belin invited Sinclair to join, the footballer moved his crotch to her head.

“They both encouraged each other,” she said.

(The Belin said) ‘Yes, Cal, keep going’ and I don’t remember Callan responding to it, but I just had tears from my eyes the whole time. ‘

Afterwards, the footballer told the woman to “shut up,” she said.

The trio had met on a dance floor in Wollongong before taking a pedicab to the unit about a mile away.

The woman says she entered the pedal booth with the impression that they were headed to a nearby nightclub.

The Crown claims that after taking the woman to the unit, the Belin was “determined” to have sex with her and “would not take no for an answer.”

The footballer’s lawyer says the complainant’s evidence has a “fundamental issue of credibility.”

Each of the men has “firmly, emphatically, repeatedly and consistently – most importantly – denied” that anything unusual had happened in the unit, David Campbell SC said Wednesday.

Sinclair is facing five charges of aggravated assault, with the annoyance in the Belin’s company.

De Belin is facing four identical charges, while a fifth charge – aggravated assault in company – alleges that he was in the company of Sinclair during the first offense and also committed deliberate or reckless bodily harm around that time.
