A pilot was preparing to take off from a Texas airport when he was suddenly arrested on a disturbing charge: forcing a cancellation.
A Frontier Airlines pilot was detained by Houston police aboard a plane at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Saturday.
The pilot, later identified as Seymour Walker, 45, was removed from Flight 3195 before takeoff because of an outstanding warrant for assault and domestic violence.
Authorities estimated the time of the arrest when Flight 3195 arrived at its assigned gate at George Bush Intercontinental Airport around 4 p.m.
The officers boarded the empty plane and arrested the pilot without any problems.

Frontier Airlines confirmed the incident, saying the pilot was arrested before boarding of Flight 3195, bound for Dallas-Fort Worth, began.
Due to the immediate lack of a replacement crew, the flight was cancelled.
To make up for the inconvenience, passengers scheduled to board Flight 3195 were offered a full refund, credit or a seat on the next available flight.
“Airlines report incidents like this to the FAA office that oversees them, and we investigate all issues involving pilots,” the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement.
The incident occurred after an Air Canada flight from Morocco to Montreal was forced to be cancelled when an attendant became furious with a passenger who asked for a blanket..
Footage from Air Canada flight AC73 has gone viral, showing the altercation between the airline employee and the passenger who requested the blanket, CTV News reported.
The flight attendant allegedly attempted to remove the passenger from the plane and threatened to call the police before other passengers threatened to get off the plane in solidarity.
The airline employee is heard saying: “Either you behave or we get off!” and “I will tell the captain immediately. Yes or no?”
Footage from Air Canada flight AC73 has gone viral, showing the altercation between the airline employee and the passenger who requested the blanket.
When passengers ask her to call the captain, the flight attendant replies: “I don’t want any harassment against my crew.”
A video was shared online, although the flight attendant was already yelling at the passenger when the camera started recording.
It is still unclear what happened before then and the passenger who asked for the blanket has not been identified or come forward.
