A woman was filmed lying in front of a stopped car, apparently trying to stage an accident in what is suspected to be an attempted insurance fraud.
A motorist was driving slowly along a quiet street in Quakers Hill, in Sydney’s west, on Wednesday when a woman appeared on the road.
He calmly walked towards the car that stopped, before lying down under the front bumper.

Moments later, a man approached the car and appeared to film the woman lying on the sidewalk with his phone, as seen in footage obtained by Seven News.
Then a younger woman came over and helped the older woman to her feet.
The elderly woman appeared unharmed during her strange behavior, while other residents were seen walking along the footpath.
New South Wales Police were alerted to the incident but have not confirmed whether an investigation will be launched.
A man then began filming the woman who had lain down under the front of the car.
