A couple who were about to start IVF treatment after two years of struggling to conceive were astonished when they became pregnant naturally – with TRIPLETS.
Stephanie Latcham, 27, and partner Michael Gough, 30, from Ferryhill, Durham, were about to start IVF treatment after having suffered two miscarriages.
The couple decided to treat themselves to a much needed vacation before they started the debilitating first treatment round.
But they were stunned when they returned from their trip to Mallorca, Spain, to discover that Stephanie had naturally conceived three babies.

Stephanie, who has polycystic ovarian syndrome, was gobsmacked when an ultrasound told them that they had not one but three bags after the first two were naturally split, creating identical triplets that occur only once in every 200 million births.
The ecstatic couple's family doubled in size when Ollie-Anna, Isabella and Brianna triplets, now four months old, were born happily and healthily on March 30 earlier this year.
They now share their story to give hope to other barren couples.
Stephanie said: & # 39; We never thought our baby dream would come true naturally during our vacation.
& # 39; I had had two miscarriages in the past and after being diagnosed with PCOS, I thought the only way to have a baby of my own was through IVF.

& # 39; But while we were on vacation, we thought on September 9 – just one day after Michael suggested.
& # 39; Three weeks after we came home, I found out I was pregnant on September 30. We were so in shock, it was incredible!
& # 39; We were about to start our first round of IVF, so knowing that we didn't have to do that after trying so long gave us a feeling that I can hardly describe.
& # 39; The first scan in October showed us baby one, two weeks later baby two and a week after that there was baby three.
& # 39; It was the best feeling in the world knowing that I carried three miracles after all we had experienced – it finally happened to us. & # 39;

Michael, pictured with Stephanie and the triplets, said that three newborns in seven months time are both wonderful and scary
Stephanie admitted that life is now & # 39; hectic & # 39; but said she and Michael would not want it otherwise.
& # 39; We have a good routine, they go for feeds every four hours and in those four hours we have to feed them, burp, change, play with them and let them sleep & # 39 ;, she explained.
& # 39; If all that happened, we will start again! We are lucky that we have one hour free for ourselves every time! & # 39;
Michael added: “It's great and scary to have three newborns in seven months at the same time.
& # 39; Steph has always said she has a & # 39; Home Alone & # 39; family wanted and after the desire for only one child, it is finally great to have three. We have been blessed with this for a reason. & # 39;
Now the family's life is pretty hectic, but Michael and Stephanie said they wouldn't want it any other way

Michael and Stephanie had resigned to starting IVF in 2019 because they could not get pregnant after two years and two miscarriages.
Stephanie said: & Michael introduced me while we were away, so within a month I was engaged to the love of my life and was about to give what we thought it was a little sister or brother of Tyler .
& # 39; We knew very little that he would get three! & # 39;
Michael added: & # 39; We were told that there is a 200% chance of identical triplets, so we feel incredibly happy. & # 39;

Michael and Stephanie had to get three of everything themselves to make sure they were well equipped for the arrival of their triplets
Stephanie said her son Zach, who comes from a previous relationship, loves the triplets and will often help if they get stressed
Life changed very quickly after the baby & # 39; s were born; Michael grabbed the keys to their new home the same day Stephanie was giving birth, and they arranged for a seven-seater people carrier to get everyone around.
Not only this, they also had to get three of everything themselves to make sure they were well equipped for the arrival of their triplets.
Stephanie said: & My older son Zach (five) loves the triplets, he will often help by bouncing the girls off when they get stressed – we also get great support from mine and Michael & # 39; s parents, I couldn't thank them enough.
Michael added, "Neither of us has an idea of what we are doing here, but it has certainly been quite a journey to bring our perfect not-so-small family together."
Ollie-Anna, Isabella and Brianna, dressed in cute matching pink outfits, are doing very well
