I’m A Celebrity Australia fans are sharing their upset as the fan-favourite star becomes the seventh campmate to be eliminated from the South African jungle.

Stephen K. Amos became the seventh star to be eliminated from I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia on Wednesday, just days before the grand final.

The comedian, 56, said goodbye to his excited campmates as he was eliminated from the competition in a shocking twist as excitement builds up to the final.

Tristan MacManus and Skye Wheatley narrowly avoided elimination, as they both faced Stephen in the final three, but were saved by viewers.

Fans took to social media to share their shock after the fan-favourite star left the South African jungle, leaving only five celebrities competing for the 2024 crown.

The latest vote broke I’m A Celebrity Australia records as the stars collectively received the most votes in a 24-hour period as they won over viewers.

In his exit interview, Stephen broke down in tears watching his highlights on the Channel 10 show and emotionally said he appreciated being able to be “vulnerable” with his campmates.

Through tears, she said, “Just being able to be vulnerable in front of other people and be honest, being able to speak your truth, which is something you rarely get to do.” In my job, you make people laugh all the time.

“It was really nice to sit with a group of people, there’s mutual respect, they’re attentive and you can talk without judgement.”

Stephen, who had been competing to raise funds for Banksia Pallative Care Service, predicted that Skye, Tristan and Ellie Cole will be among the contest’s final three.

Of narrowly missing out on the final, he added: ‘So close, yet so far away! What a lovely moment it was, thank you very much!’

He revealed that he had learned a lot about himself during his time on the reality show and spoke about some of the challenges of living in the South African jungle.

“The hardest thing I found was not having an audience to perform just for me. [as a comedian]and just be myself,’ he shared.

“I learned a lot about myself as a human being, something I didn’t expect, I learned to be patient, I learned to comfort myself, I learned to live without my cell phone.”

Stephen confirmed he will quickly return to work as he will tour Australia and perform at a number of comedy festivals.

He said: ‘I’m going straight from here to Brisbane for the comedy festival. I’m in Sydney, I’m in Perth, I have some appointments in Melbourne. I’ll be all over the store!’

After Stephen’s exit, host Robert confirmed that his will be the final single elimination, as there will be the first double vote in the camp on Thursday.

Only five celebrities remain in the battle to be crowned 2024 champion, as excitement builds for the final, which will air on Sunday night.

Amid the series of eliminations, Khanh Ong became the sixth celebrity to leave the camp on Tuesday night.

As the talented chef left, the group shared their concerns about how they would approach cooking after relying on his culinary talents.

The latest shocking elimination comes after Khanh Ong became the sixth celebrity to leave the camp on Tuesday night.

In his exit interview, Khanh said he enjoyed flexing his creative muscles in the camp kitchen.

‘Most meals were based on the ingredients I got. How I made the most flavor with minimal ingredients or charring things for more flavor,” she said.

‘A lot of people helped. Every night I had a sous chef. “Everyone was happy I did it because it’s my happy place.”

‘I loved the experience. My campmates were amazing and will be friends for life,” Khanh added.

However, the MasterChef star also received outside help with the cooking, as he has since revealed how he smuggled a long list of contraband into the camp.

As the talented chef left, the group shared their concerns about how they would approach cooking after relying on his culinary talent in the jungle.

Known for his culinary skills, Khanh smuggled many snacks into the camp for him and his castmates to enjoy, instead of just the measly meal portions of rice and beans.

‘There was candy too, we had nuts, I ate so many different types of nuts, throughout the day I would drop nuts into people’s hands, when I cooked, it was like putting spices on things just to make them tastier.’

Despite his best efforts, he admitted that the contraband was eventually removed from them in accordance with the strict rules of the Network Ten show.

He said: “When the contraband had to be removed I literally threw everything in the bin, it was like the kids eat what they can, I just need to put the dye back in my hair so Australia doesn’t know.” I don’t naturally have pink hair.
