A home cook thought he had gotten the deal of a lifetime when he found a cheap slow cooker online, but was sorely disappointed when it arrived in the mail.
The shopper was dismayed to discover that she had actually ordered a miniature slow cooker that was only big enough for a dollhouse kitchen from online discount retailer Temu.
After looking at the website again, they realized they hadn’t read the item description correctly, but they could see the funny side of the confusion.
It is not known how much the buyer paid for the ‘slow cooker’, however similar versions cost between $2 and $10 online.
They shared the hilarious mistake online, sending hundreds of people into hysterics with some calling it a “cute” mistake.

‘Is that for dieting?’ one person asked.
‘But it works? It looks like it will melt a chocolate chip or two. “That’s always helpful,” a second joked.
“Put a magnet on it and put it on your refrigerator,” another suggested.
“It would have cost like a dollar, do you really think you’d buy a full-sized, functional one?” Another laughed.
‘That’s why you have to read the details of the product. “You can’t tell the size of the product from an image,” one user warned.
Many said they had made very similar but funny mistakes when shopping online.
“We ordered shoes and they sent us a keychain with a shoe on it,” one woman recalled.
‘I’ve done this several times. SEVERAL. I bought an entire ‘miniature’ Halloween display for my house without knowing it because it was a GREAT deal. “I didn’t realize it was for a Smurf village,” laughed another.
‘My husband bought a bucket of champagne online. It was metal and even showed a bottle in the bucket. He thought he was getting a good deal until he arrived. Let’s just say the bottle wasn’t the full size,” said a third.
I did this. “I thought I was going to buy a container of cat food only to get ‘Cat Food’ stickers,” someone added.
