A designer created his dream bathroom, but didn't consider how he laid the floor tiles.

A designer created the homeowner’s dream bathroom, but didn’t take into account how they placed the marble.

In a TikTok shared by the account NearlyThere (@nearlythere2024), the creator showed how the marble slabs on the floors and walls of his bathrooms looked like smeared feces.

“Now, every time someone walks into the bathroom, they see that,” the TikTok account said in the videoThe narration.

In response to the faux pas, several users in the comments were dismayed by the designer’s carelessness.

“That was personal,” another user commented.

“Looks like REVENGE,” wrote another.

“I would have inspected it before paying,” chimed in a third.

However. Many other users defended the designer.

“Marble pairs well with porcelain,” said one commenter.

“It’s mostly in one tile so I probably didn’t realize until I finished it,” wrote another.

This isn’t the only home design flaw that has taken the Internet by storm.

A Colorado homeowner took to TikTok to vent about the “nightmare” of owning her so-called “dream home.”

The mom, known as @streetsavvy_, shared that the home she bought two years ago from Oakwood Homes has been plagued with problems like leaks, mold, uneven floors and flooding in the garage, despite paying $3,400 a month.

In a tearful video, she said: “I didn’t want to take this to TikTok, but I’m at the end of my rope.”

He also revealed that his malfunctioning air conditioning unit is covered in insulation, creating a fire risk for his family.

A spokesperson for Oakwood Homes responded to the allegations, telling Dailymail.com that the company is currently working with the TikToker to “fix it quickly.”

In another homeowners disaster that swept the Internet, a North Dakota construction company reprimanded Tom and Katie Webster, who reported 87 defects in their new $1.1 million mansion, purchased in March 2023.

After their complaints to Spire Custom Homes went unanswered, they contacted the homeowner directly, who allegedly dismissed their concerns.

Desperate for help, the Websters reached out to local television station Valley News Live to share their experience. In response, Spire criticized them for making the issue public and stated that the complaints should be kept private.

A spokesperson stated: “Spire Custom Homes considers customer complaints to be private matters and has been in continuous communication with the Websters for over a year.”

The situation worsened when the Websters reported that some construction workers were arrested for drug use on their property, while another was extradited to Texas on criminal charges.

Despite their efforts to address the issues, the couple described their experience as a heartbreaking change from “dream to nightmare.” Katie expressed her disappointment, saying, “From the day we signed, it was one thing after another.”

The couple found shoddy construction, including poorly installed appliances, taped skirting boards and cracked paving slabs.

Homeowners Tom and Katie Webster said the process of building their new home quickly went “from a dream to a nightmare.”

They also reported that the floors were installed backwards and that the walls had to be rebuilt several times.

After heavy rain, flooding revealed additional faults and careless workers left footprints in the concrete path before it dried.

As they struggle to finish their house, the Websters say Spire Custom Homes, owned by Jeff Shipley, is virtually ignoring their attempts to contact them.

According to Valley News Live, when the outlet called Spire’s CEO, he declined to comment, only replying, “This is not my problem.”
