iOS 17 is here, and so is the first developer beta for iPhones. Since it is a developer beta, it is only available for developers. If you’re interested in trying out the new features or want to work on compatibility for your app before the stable version is available to everyone, here’s how to install iOS 17 developer beta on your iPhone.
Early betas are known to have some bugs and issues, and the developer beta is for development purposes only. So it is not recommended to install iOS 17 on your primary iPhone. Instead, if you have an older iPhone that’s not being used, it’s safer to install it on that device.
If you don’t want a lot of hassle, it’s best to wait until July for the public beta to come out, or you could also wait until September when the stable version rolls out for everyone.
Please make a full backup of your iPhone before proceeding with the installation. Since rolling back to the stable version will erase all data.
