An Australian woman shared a foolproof way to clean liposuction filters – no scrubbing necessary.

Susan, from Western Australia, shared before-and-after photos to a popular Facebook group and raved about The Glitz Cream Cleanser, which can be purchased at Bunnings Warehouse for $6.59.

I’ve been cleaning out my range hood filter and putting it in the dishwasher, and I’m sure I’m not the only one here. Not anymore!’ I wrote.

“I found the easiest way to clean it up and it takes less than 10 minutes, I don’t promise, using an elbow rub.”

First time and I did it…so happy with the result,” said Suzanne (Pictured: Glitz Cream Cleanser)

To convert the oil filters, she removed the filters from the range hood and applied cream cleaner to the front and back.

I left it on for a few minutes and then used a soft brush to gently remove the oil buildup.

Finally, she washed the filters under hot water and was surprised that they worked so well.

“First time and I did it… very happy with the result,” Suzanne said.

“The picture of the dirty hood filter is attributed to Google as I forgot to take a picture, but the picture left is of me after I cleaned it.”

Susan added in the comments that she knew it’s not recommended to clean the filters in the dishwasher because they can cause damage, so she needed a replacement.

A simple cleaning “hack” left the filters looking shiny and new, ready to use again.

The impressive turnaround stunned hundreds on Facebook with many eager to try the product themselves.

I have never been able to shake my hygiene in 17 years. I just managed to make it “less greasy”. I’m going to try this!’ one person wrote.

Another said: Some might get it!! Thanks for the post! I’m tired of cleaning range hood filters and having to scrub them.

Another woman shared her cleaning tip, writing, “Soak me in the sink with a dishwasher tablet for 15 minutes or so.. rinses clean.”
