Many fans didn’t immediately recognize Kelce, who was wearing a top hat and tuxedo as he joined the performance of I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
According The athleticNeither Veach nor anyone in Kansas City knew the 34-year-old would appear on stage.

Veach reportedly began to wonder if something had happened to one of his players or if someone in the organization needed his help.
Instead, Kelce brought Swift onstage in front of 90,000 fans in London.
“He’s a showman,” Veach told The Athletic. “He has a natural gift for being able to perform in front of people. Obviously, we get the most benefit when he does it on Sundays.”
He added: ‘It’s funny because when you watch those clips with him on tour with Taylor, it seems like he’s been a part of that show for months.
“But on that day, he just looks natural. It’s a gift he has.”
“He has a natural gift for being able to perform in front of people,” Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said.
Kelce later revealed how her cameo came about, telling her brother Jason on his New Heights podcast: ‘She found the perfect part of the show for me to come on… it’s a really fun, playful part of the show.
“It was the perfect time to go in there and just be an actor, have fun and try to get everyone excited for the rest of the show. It was amazing.”
Kelce continued: ‘That moment was pretty shocking. I was like, ‘Oh, shit!’ You don’t realize how big that fucking stage is. I didn’t let Taylor down. That’s all that really matters.’
Kelce is now back in Kansas City preparing for the start of the new NFL season, which begins with the Chiefs taking on the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5.
