MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson from the US, is the richest YouTube star in the world and is known for designing engaging online challenges, games or experiments.
The social media star, 25, regularly gives away millions of dollars to lucky subscribers, but viewers have called her latest challenge a little more disturbing than usual.
Their latest complicated task involved two complete strangers, called Suzie and Bailey, an all-white ‘isolation chamber’ and $500,000 (£392,000) in cash.

MrBeast’s latest challenge involved locking two strangers in a room for ninety days – but it revealed a scathing twist that challenged them to split or steal almost £400,000 in cash.
MrBeast then dropped them off in the cube-shaped room, which contained two makeshift, windowless beds, a private bathroom, and enough food to last 100 days.
At first, Suzie and Bailey had to entertain themselves with the objects and materials contained in the room, such as making decks of cards out of paper and building forts out of food cans.
Each day, they were required to eat plain chicken and the interior lights were permanently set at a “blindingly bright” level.
However, MrBeast would arrive every ten days during the challenge to tempt them with additional prizes, cash, and tastier food, but it would all come at a cost.
The YouTuber would offer the couple delicacies that would cost a significant amount of their potential prize, such as a private chef who would cook them for every meal on the 10th.
On the 20th, Suzie and Bailey were given the opportunity to buy beds and a dimmer switch for the bright lights for $50,000 (£39,000), but the couple rejected both offers.
The two finally broke up on the 30th and bought the entire Harry Potter book collection and a coffee machine for $20,000 (£15,700).
The contestants managed to pass the time relatively uneventfully, other than a frustrated Suzie eventually hiding the Monopoly dice to avoid playing any more games.

When the final day arrived, MrBeast came with an unexpected twist: the couple faced the final challenge of dividing the money, as agreed, or stealing it.
If one of them decided to steal while the other decided to split up, the ‘thief’ would take the entire prize, but if they both decided to steal, they would leave the room with nothing.
Luckily, both Suzie and Bailey weren’t willing to take the risk and the couple decided to split, meaning they each walked away with $250,000 (£196,000).
The video, which was uploaded to X on May 20, has since received more than 50 million views and more than 5,000 comments from viewers expressing mixed opinions about the challenge.
One person wrote: ‘Mr. Beast, you’re changing lives one pageant at a time,” while another said of the two contestants, “I hope they get married.”

A third said: “They picked the perfect guy for this, he had almost no opinions and agreed with everything she said.”
Meanwhile, one cynical viewer wrote: “I’m starting to think Mr. Beast is simply conducting lockdown psychology experiments for the government.”
Another fan suggested a more challenging modification of the task, writing: “Imagine repeating this challenge but increasing the heat in the room to cause sweating and replacing the foods with beans and other gas-causing foods.”
It comes after MrBeast revealed he earns £550million a year but claims not to be rich.
He became the most followed person on YouTube in 2022 and with 240 million subscribers and counting as of early 2024, he is very close to Indian record label and producer T-Series in the race for the top spot.
