In the video, Aesha said she listened to a radio clip where the presenters talked about why they didn’t want to share bars of soap with others.

“One of the hosts said something about soap and doesn’t like sharing it because she puts the bar between her ass or whatever and I suddenly realized: some people move the bar around their bodies? she exclaimed.

Aesha said in the shower that she lathers the soap in her hand and then uses the suds to wash her body.

“It didn't even occur to me to push the bar around my body, so now I'm so intrigued. What are you doing?' the star asked, sparking a lively discussion in the comments

“It didn’t even occur to me to push the bar around my body, so now I’m so intrigued. What are you doing? Do you push the bar around or foam it and then use your hands like I do?” the Kiwi flight attendant asked.

The video was inundated with comments as hundreds of viewers shared their favorite bathroom habits, most saying they move the bar around their bodies.

“I’ve done it, but it flies everywhere, gives way too much stress when washing haha,” one person wrote.

“Okay, but really talking, rubbing the bar is so much more effective,” said a second, and another admitted, “I’ve put the bar all over my body, even between my cheeks.”

‘So weird. I’ll just get soap on my hands and put the bar back,” replied a fourth.

Many said they use a washcloth to wrap or lather up the soap.

“Wrap the bar in a washcloth and move it around my body. That way I always have enough soap suds’, someone responded.

“I foam the bar in a cloth manner, put the bar down and use the soapy cloth,” another explained.

The conversation about washcloths led Aesha to make a follow-up video where she said she had no idea they were so common.

“I wake up this morning and like 90 percent of the comments say they use a washcloth! What?’ she said.

‘In New Zealand we use as a washcloth to wash your face, but I’ve never heard of or thought of washing your body with a cloth and you all do it. This is just so mind-boggling, it’s insane. Is this something American?’
