A desperate search has intensified for a girl who has been missing for almost seven weeks.
Molly Noonan-Medley, 8, was last seen with a woman she knew in the Wollongong suburb of Woonona, south of Sydney, at around 11am on October 31.
After attempts to contact the woman failed, police were alerted the following day and launched an investigation to locate the girl, who remains missing.
Police launched a second appeal for public assistance on Monday night to help locate Molly’s whereabouts.
Initial investigations have established the couple may have headed to Queensland and may be relying on public transport to get around.
Molly Noonan-Medley, age 8, was last seen on October 31.
The woman is known to frequent Woonona, Wollongong and Huskisson on the New South Wales south coast.
Molly is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 120cm, slim build, blue eyes and blonde/brown hair.
It’s unknown what Molly might be wearing.
