Harry Styles has reportedly been asked to headline next year’s Glastonbury festival in his sensational return to live music.

The former One Direction star, 30, surprised fans in July when he appeared on stage as a guest at Stevie Nicks’ BST performance in Hyde Park.

And now The sun has revealed that festival organiser Emily Eavis has approached him to headline the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm.

A source told the publication: “Harry would be the perfect headliner for Glastonbury and Emily has always wanted to have him on the Worthy Farm stage but the dates have never worked out.”

Previously, Harry was busy completing his 173-date Love on Tour show.

The world tour began in September 2021 and ended in July 2023, lasting 22 months, and Harry has since stepped away from the spotlight.

However, it looks like she might now have a June off for Glastonbury as she continues work on her fourth album.

They added: ‘It would be amazing to see Harry on the Pyramid Stage. Glastonbury has a gap year in 2026 so booking Harry for next year would be perfect.

“It’s something the Glastonbury team is striving to achieve. However, Harry’s team has yet to decide whether that dream will become a reality.”

MailOnline has contacted Harry’s representatives for comment.

Harry stunned the crowd when he was introduced as a surprise guest during Steve Nicks’ headline show in July, when they performed an emotional duet of Landslide and Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.

The Water Melon Sugar singer joined the 76-year-old Fleetwood Mac icon as he paid an emotional tribute to his late bandmate Christine McVie on what would have been her 81st birthday.

Christine died tragically in December 2022 after suffering a stroke while battling cancer.
